  3. Apple has very good news for Macintosh owners who want the speed and power of Power Macintosh computers, but don’t want to sacrifice their previous investments: the Power Macintosh Upgrade Card, the Macintosh Processor Upgrade, and the Power Macintosh Logic Board Upgrades. Each of these products adds the fast PowerPC processor to your Macintosh computer.
  4.      You can install the low-cost Power Macintosh Upgrade Card in the processor-direct slot of your Macintosh Quadra or Macintosh Centris computer by following simple, step-by-step instructions and using only a screwdriver. 
  5. Once installed, the card allows Power Macintosh programs to run up to four times faster. And you can still run all your existing Macintosh applications.
  6.     The Macintosh Processor Upgrade brings these same speed capabilities to owners of select Macintosh Quadra, LC, and Performa computers, but requires installation by an authorized Apple reseller or service provider.
  7.     Even greater performance, as well as speech and telephony capabilities, can be yours if you choose the appro-priate Power Macintosh Logic Board Upgrade for your Macintosh. These logic board upgrades give your computer capabilities identical to those of the Power Macintosh model to which you’ve upgraded. And by selecting a logic board AV upgrade, you can add support for video input and output. 
  8.      Installation of both the logic board and logic board AV upgrades must be performed by an authorized Apple reseller or service provider. Your upgraded computer will retain your computer’s existing hard drive and, in most cases, its memory 
  9. chips as well.
  10.      All these upgrade options give you the best of both worlds: Power Macintosh capabilities designed for the future, built on the foundation of the investment you already have in your Macintosh today.
